Challenge
Brancato’s Catering needed a signage solution that could keep pace with seasonal menus and event requirements while maintaining a consistent, high-quality appearance across locations and events.
At The Whistle Stop Market, connected to Harvey’s at Union Station, baked goods, prepared foods, and grab-and-go items are regularly rotated based on availability and seasonal offerings. Traditional signage methods were time-consuming to update and made it difficult to maintain a cohesive branded look throughout the market.
The catering team also required attractive food signage that could be customized for special events while reflecting the elevated presentation clients expect from Brancato’s.

Solution
Brancato’s Catering implemented the Edikio Flex printer to produce professional plastic food tags and display cards for both retail and catering applications.
At The Whistle Stop Market, the team created a standardized template in the Edikio software, allowing staff to quickly print new cards whenever products are added, removed, or updated. They produce a consistent visual presentation across all shelves and displays while drastically simplifying the process of keeping pricing and product information current.
“The Edikio Flex allows us to easily update cards based on the items we’re featuring,” said Brancato. “Because our template is already set up, we can print a new card whenever needed and maintain a cohesive, branded appearance throughout the market“.
The printer has also become a valuable tool for catering events. During a recent exhibit opening, Brancato’s created customized food signs for passed appetizers that matched the event’s aesthetic and elevated the guest experience.
