We’ve enhanced our Edikio software with these new features:

Access the newest updates!

Edikio software doesn’t update automatically, so to benefit from the latest features, you need to download the most current version.
By using the menu drop down ‘Help > Check for software updates’, you will be able to verify if a new version of Edikio is available for download.

Manage multiple images and price fields

Add as many images as you like to the Edikio item list and tag layouts, to share more visual information with customers:

Food designation (Kosher, Halal, Vegan, etc.)
Dietary restrictions (Gluten-, sugar-, nut- free, etc.)
Specific labeling (Locally produced, organic, homemade, etc.)
Show multiple prices on the same tag:
- Price per unit and price per kg, lb, oz, etc.
- Sale price

Manage item lists and/or layouts over several computers

You can now export your Edikio-created item lists or layouts to use them on other computers that are also utilizing Edikio.

Backs up your full Edikio session.
Allows exporting of item lists and/or layouts as a ‘.zip’ archive file, and then imports them onto other computers.
Ideal for retailers who can create layouts and categories once for several points of sales.

Export entire or partial Edikio item list to Microsoft Excel™

Choose which category or sub-category you want to export. Each category or sub-category is saved as a separate MS Excel™ file.
If you initially imported your data to Edikio from an MS Excel™ file, and then made changes to it within Edikio, you will be able to keep your last update as an MS Excel™ file.
Exporting items from the Edikio categories to the MS Excel™ files allows you to reuse the data, with or without Edikio (e.g., for cashier management software).

Import information from file types other than Microsoft Excel™

Customers can import CSV and TXT files to their item categories.
The import procedure works the same way as with an MS Excel™ file - either through the New Category Wizard, or from the data settings view.

Print dual-sided tags with a single-sided printer

Edikio software allows you to print both sides of your tags with a single-sided printer; thereby assuring that no cards are wasted in this manual process. Available from the Standard edition of Edikio.

Activate the dual-sided option and print tags one by one or in a batch. The Wizard guides you through three simples steps:
- Print the front side(s)
- Flip the tag(s)
- Print the back side(s)

Reorganize product categories due to evolving requirements

Moving items from one category to another allows you to keep your item list and categories organized at all times.
Right-click on the item(s) that you would like to move and choose the destination category or sub-category where you would like to move them to.

Activate the Edikio software license without an internet connection

Edikio software gives you the opportunity to activate your software license for an offline computer. To do this you will need two computers:
- One without internet connection that you will use with your Edikio software
- One with access to the internet to activate the license for the offline computer

Print tags from other applications while utilizing Edikio layouts

You can now use Edikio design module in “silent mode” (without opening the Edikio software).
The “silent mode” feature (available only with the Edikio Pro edition) allows the printing of item information on tag layouts designed with Edikio from an external application.

The “Undo/Redo” option allows for the cancellation of any action performed in your item list or on your layout design.
