All ribbons and cards provided by Edikio are easy to install and benefit from the Evolis High Trust® quality. They have been tested by the Evolis quality department to guarantee a professional result.
Plastic cards have multiples advantages:

• Easy to clean,

Which consumables should I use with my printer?

 

Stand out with the Edikio alternative range 

The Edikio range of consumables offers two alternatives to PVC: 

• PLA/WOOD cards: With their natural wood look, PLA/WOOD cards offer similar benefits to conventional PVC cards
• Paper cards: Ideal for short-term use—from a few hours to a few days—or where there is minimum handling.

These alternative cards for reduced environmental impact are suitable for many uses and have a wide range of personalization options with our Edikio Guest and Edikio Price Tag software. Tested and validated by Edikio's R&D and Quality departments, they offer a high-quality, professional-looking finish.

Choose the format that meets your needs

While the tag format you have chosen may be right for most of your products, it may be too small or too big for some of them. A solution that allows you to create different labels formats is therefore preferable, to make sure that your products can be seen and your tags be read, as well as giving you greater flexibility.
The different dimensions of the cards enable you to display and differentiate your products in a harmonious way:

• The credit card format is an ideal size to highlight your products on the display stands, big enough to mention all the necessary information without hiding your products.
  
  • Dimensions of the standard cards (CR80): 85.6 mm x 54 mm (3 3/8’’ x 2 1/8’’)
• Long cards offer an increased surface of writing to display even more details for your consumers. Flexible, they are easy to insert in shelf rails if needed.
  
  • Dimensions of the long cards:
    
    • 120x50 mm (4,72" x 1,97")
    • 150x50 mm (5,90" x 1,97") – It’s the ideal format for bakeries as  it is compliant with the French Decree on labeling bread product 78-89/P.
• 3TAG cards are ideal when you need to highlight specific features (promotion, organic food, label, handmade, etc.) or to label small items (such as chocolates). Composed of 3 divisible parts, you can print different mini tags at the same time.
  
  • Dimensions of the 3TAG: 54x28mm (2,13" x 1,10")

 

Black cards printed in white

Available in diverse formats, the black cards printed in white will assure you a chalkboard finish for your labels.

 

White cards printed in block or in colors

Available in three formats, PVC white cards can be printed with black, red, green and blue ribbons.

 

PLA/WOOD cards

Available in standard format, the PLA/WOOD cards can be printed with the Black RMS RCT095NAA ribbon for Access, and Black RMS RCT094NAA for Flex.

 

Paper cards

Available in standard format, the paper cards can be printed with the BlackFlex RCT081NAA ribbon for Access, and BlackFlex RCT019NAA for Flex and Duplex.

 

Cards in solid colors or slate imitation

Bring a bright or a more traditional look to your displays with slate imitation and color cards. Available in green, yellow, red, gold and silver, those color cards offer you the opportunity to highlight some of your products in a different way.

 

Choose the layout of your cards

The advantage of plastic cards is that they can be presented in many different ways, with or without holders. Have you ever thought of folding your labels?
Folded cards have two major advantages:

• Low-cost solution: Folding allows labels to stand alone, so you don’t need to include specific stands.
• Time saver: endless searches to find the right holder for your labels are over! Plus, you save the time spent ordering, installing, and cleaning them. The folded labels can be easily and quickly installed with their stability guaranteed.

Folding these labels is a breeze! From one format, you can create up to five more.

The different folding options increase your display possibilities by ensuring that labels are always adapted to the size of your products.
If folding cards is not applicable to your needs, some specific holders might be available.

Maximize the performance and the warranty of your Edikio printers

Clean your printer to optimize its performance

Plastic or paper card printing requires a routine printer cleaning as cards can attract dust and dirt. To help you maintain your printer's performance and lifespan, Evolis supplies cleaning kits to perform extensive cleaning of the equipment.
Evolis High Trust® Cleaning kits are composed of different cleaning tools, each designed for a specific part of the printer:

• Print head: swabs, pens
• Cleaning rollers: adhesive cards
• Transport rollers: T cards
• Printer: wipes

Preserve the warranty of your printer

The print head warranty is directly linked to the routine cleaning of your printer. If you do not carry out this cleaning at the required times, the print head warranty will cease to be valid.
To preserve your printer warranty we recommend the following cleaning cycles:
